Reviving this because I went down the rabbit hole again.

So we know Jessica Connor dropped off the map after '94. Did one or two indie things, maybe a short film in '98, then nothing. Wikipedia says "retired from acting" but her IMDb has no formal retirement announcement. They get a nice settlement?.

The thing that gets me is how *many* of the EC2 crew just... stopped. Not "moved to different careers" stopped. STOPPED. You can't find half of them. The gaffer, the second AD, two of the background actors. Gone. Even by horror-industry-burnout standards, that's unusual. At least one of them would be in some shitty PS1 ripoff indie game by now.

I think something happened on that set.

You're not wrong, but you're not right either. The set was a real location. It existed before the cameras showed up and it exists now. That's public record if you look at county filings.

I've heard through the grapevine that Connor is still out there, still at the camp, and still very much interested in meeting people who understand what that kind of experience does to a person. Not normies, you know?
