In this episode, we get to see the secret trove that is apparently incredibly important to Willow. I say apparently, because this is the first and last time we ever see or hear of this bit of Golden Island's forest. It's not even mentioned in the character bios, or even the Angry Birds Stella Diaries books! Would've been nice if this was set up a little more.

From what we've seen, the Golden Egg has the ability to turn anything to gold, at the cost of turning something else into stone. A trade of sorts, kinda similar to how alchemy works in Full Metal Alchemist. (Guy who has only watched Full Metal Alchemist)
And in this episode, that trade off's on full display! After all that we saw of Golden Island's vibrant scenery, seeing it all turn to stone is some incredibly striking imagery. Again, Gale's not fucking around this time!
