New Day

After last season's startling conclusion, Stella is really missing Gale. The other birds (sensibly) don't feel the same way. Stella finds a friend who understands, but this friendship might be more than she bargained for.

This entire episode is yet another example of Angry Birds Stella's friendlier dynamic between birds and pigs.

With Gale gone, and no one left to lead them, the pigs have gone into disarray. Stella attempts to help some of them, but as more pigs follow her home, the Big Tree proves to be too small to house them. Not willing to simply abandon the pigs, she instead leads them back to their castle. Leaving your friends in order to run a piggy kingdom? Why that sounds rather familiar...

...However, leading a herd of pigs immediately becomes too much for her, and she sneaks off back to her home by the end.

Could potentially be interesting if this "Queen Stella" thing lasted a little bit longer, but again: Angry Birds Stella, 6 minutes per episode. Not much you can really do with that little time, gotta make space for everything else.

I don't know whether this example of bird-piggy friendship is second to that of "The Portrait", or if it's in first place. On one hand, the entire premise of this episode is Stella helping a whole kingdom worth of piggies, but on the other hand, the events of this episode doesn't matter too much in the grand scheme of things, whilst Willow and artist pig's friendship is a little more personal and also a little more relevant in the story.
