Two opposing characters are trapped together and are forced to cooperate in order to escape, possibly making amends in the process. You can never go wrong with classic tropes!
Not much to write about Stella and Gale's relationship in this episode besides a bunch of basic observations. They certainly do cooperate in order to escape, making amends in the process. I do like it, especially the gay little moment they have after the paragliding scene, but I'm neither smart nor pretentious enough to squeeze several paragraphs out of all this, unfortunately.
It is quite a ballsy move to end this season with Gale's death! I mean not really, kiddie stuff aren't strangers to villain deaths, and it's obvious Rovio isn't gonna stick with this, but this was still quite a "Holy Shit" moment to me as a kid.
There's not much else I can write about this episode, unfortunately, so I'll use this opportunity to talk about Season 1 as a whole.
Overall, it's pretty solid! It's a good introduction to Angry Birds Stella and its cast, and every episode is important in some way. They all reveal some aspect of a character, the island they live on, and provides decent interaction between the characters. The only episode I was disatisfied with was the second episode, "Bad Princess", but it's still pretty decent!
