And now for something a little different! This is going to be a prequel series to Fool's Gold that details what happened to Stephanie's friends after the events of "You Asked For It" (the last Stella Toons episode) and before the events of the Fool's Gold comic. I have no idea how long the series will be, but it is going to be a side project to give you MORE Angry Birds Stella content while Fool's Gold is in production. You don't need to read the actual comic to catch up, though watching the official animated series will help.

Commentary:
A 14 chapter story taking place after Angry Birds Stella Toons, focusing on the events before Fool's Gold. The Stella flock gradually falls apart as each of the bird leaves the island to pursue their own paths, and Stella decides it's best to go back to Piggy Island. Willow and Luca, however, stay behind to take care of the Big Tree. Soon, the volcano erupts, and a familiar face leads the two to safety; originally out of genuine care, but soon she discovers an opportunity...
I do get what JayBrylls were going for with Stella's characterization: Having the painful memory of Gale's betrayal refreshed in her mind, she now fears that the rest of her friends may follow suit, and leave her one by one for their own desires, so she freaks the hell out when she sees them do seemingly just that. However, I feel like the execution could be a little better; she's currently a little too dramatic, ONE friend leaves for college and she immediately starts having mental breakdowns and runs off into the forest. Maybe you could save this stuff for when Poppy's leaving.
Also, the story's weird insistance on using the "long form" of the birds' names (Stephanie, Polina, Lucas) can be a little jarring at times, but other than that, it's a pretty solid read!
