Description:
So I got way into Angry Birds Stella. Can't wait for the animated series. It seems a lot like MLP:FIM. If you haven't gotten the game, you should. It's free and pretty good. I wrote this based on it as you may have assumed.
Angry Birds and Angry Birds Stella are (c) of Rovio and maybe some others...
I don't own it though.
EDIT:
The first episode of Stella the Animated Series came out today! Go watch it!
It shows the fallout between Stella and Gale and completely destroys my portrayal of it :( (Sad)
To be honest, I kinda liked mine better...oh well

Commentary:
A short little take on Stella and Gale's fallout, made before the show was released.
I particularly love the characterization of Gale loving anything shiny, rather than just gold. It's reminiscent of the myth that crows collect and hoard shiny objects in their nest. Plus, the description of Gale's house being decorated with CDs, hubcaps, and other reflective flotsam that Gale spends hours of her day polishing is a lot more interesting than the uncharacteristically empty Gale's house we get in the show.
We unfortunately don't get much from the other birds, but it's understandable: this was made before the show was even a thing, so nerniply didn't have much to work with. Though surprisingly, he did predict Poppy's lack of attention span in her Angry Birds Stella Diaries installment, even though none of her official character bios even mentioned such a thing!
What I like most about this take is that: in "Willow Takes The Stage" from the Angry Birds Stella Diaries novels, it is stated that Stella blames herself for Gale's face-heel turn; even though all Stella did was yell at Gale for burning their tent down. Here however, Stella is very much the cause of Gale's breakdown, having kept a lie for days until she had to shatter Gale's hope when it had built up to its highest. Here, it's much more believable that Stella would in fact blame herself.
I get that the "blaming herself" thing was supposed to be a little irrational, but in the land of fiction, even the irrational has to be somewhat rational, otherwise it'd just be bullshit that comes out of nowhere.
In summary, great stuff.
