The band decamped for the train station from Vic's Cafe. Farmer went with them, stopping to have a curry and then seeing them off on a train to Manchester, ostensibly to continue the tour there. I saw The Clash at Bonds - excellent
Facebook page - The Clash played a series of 17 concerts at Bond's Casino in New York City in May and June of 1981 in support of their album Sandinista!.
