Festa Del Unita Italian Dates as part of the celebrations by the Italian Communist Party who's leader, Enrico Berlinguer, died june 11 1984.
updated 2 Sept 2016 with better audio information
Audio 1
poor but undistorted - Sound 2 - 87min - 2nd gen - 21 tracks
Tommy Gun
The band open with a instrumental London Calling for over 3 minutes before Joe stretches his vocals. This is a poor tape.
Its very distant and has some noise which degrades the clarity, though it is not distorted. It occasionally has some tape warble as well.
There is also an amazing take 2 short jamming/wailing bass and drum White Man following the original. Well worth the tape just to hear this and the London Calling Instrumental intro. Joe seems in no mood to sing as Bankrobber runs a couple of minutes before larynx are tickled. Guns of Brixton is edited and fades out.

OUT OF CONTROL TOUR ÔøΩ84
Italian Festivals Tour
Palazzo della Fiera Internazionale di Genova, Genova - Italy
10 September 1984
30TH ANNIVERSARY UPGRADED VERSION
Line-up:
Joe Strummer: lead vocal, guitar
Paul Simonon: bass, vocals
Nick Sheppard: guitar, vocals
Vince White: guitar, vocals
Pete Howard: drums
Exactly 30 years ago today The Clash played their last Italian show in Genova, Italy. This is the only known version of that concert and I want share it, to remember that day.The sound is far from perfect or good. May be considered sufficient only if one considers the place, a large round-shaped building, built completely with concrete, iron, steel and glass ... can someone imagine a worst venue to host a concert?... and the recording equipments of that period. In any case, I've decided to share it, thinking that will be liked by many collectors because is quite rare to find.I've edited a bit the sound right to make it more clear and this went good but the echoes aren't editable and this is probably the better audio that is possible obtain about this gig. Any upgrade or better version would be obviously welcome.

The Clash - Toronto Bus Interview April 1984
Joe Strummer interviewed by Lisa Robinson for WNYC?
This 2-part interview presents polar extremes of Joe Strummer. The first part most likely takes place in late 1983, after Mick Jones left the band but before the new Clash line-up started touring together. The majority of this segment involves Strummer heatedly discussing all the reasons Jones was fired. He then goes on to talk animatedly about the new incarnation of the band and how everyone in America is on drugs.
In the second part of the interview, recorded in the beginning of 1984, Strummer sounds melancholy and exhausted. However, with the departure of Mick Jones from The Clash being old news by this point, Lisa Robinson is able to steer the questioning towards what Strummer makes of performing, success, and his music.
